Introduction

Trailblazer Physical is a 5* Destruction character and is the first character you have access to when starting the game. TB Physical is mainly used as either a ST or AoE DPS, you will also have access to all their Eidolons via the Shop/Story. Keep in mind that you will eventually have access to Trailblazer Fire which is an overall better version of TB, therefore, we recommend not investing too heavily in this version’s Traces/Skills as they do not carry over to the Fire counterpart.

Skills

As a general rule of thumb, we do not recommend investing any materials into raising TB Physical skills as you will most likely be swapping them out for TB Fire.

Basic: Nothing much to talk about here TB Physical has the same normal attack as most other characters do. In a Double Carry team for TB Physical, they are most likely not the main damage dealer of the party. Therefore, you may end up using their Basic attack every once in a while to help with Skill Point generation.

Skill: Trailblazer Physical’s Skill deals damage to the main target and the enemies adjacent to them. An overall underwhelming skill, as its damage multiplier is only slightly higher than their Basic ATK.

Ultimate: The highlight of Trailblazer Physical’s kit, this Ultimate has 2 attack modes that can either deal a significant amount of damage to 1 enemy or deal damage to the main target and enemies adjacent to the main target. The damage multiplier tied to the Single Target version of this Ultimate is respectable and can deal a decent chunk of damage.

Talent: Each time this TB Physical inflicts a Weakness Break on an enemy, ATK is increased by 12%. This effect can stack up to 2 times. While the condition to trigger this talent can be quite restrictive, a total of 24% ATK increase is a welcome addition to their kit.

Team Comps

Double Carry/F2P Team

  • Dan Heng
  • Trailblazer (Physical M)
  • Natasha
  • March 7th
  • Dan Heng: ST
  • Trailblazer (Physical): ST/AoE
  • Natasha: Healer
  • March 7th: Tank

A F2P team that all players will have access to, Trailblazer (Physical) is mainly used in this team as a flex option to do either AoE or ST damage. Dan Heng is taken in this team as Trailblazer (Physical)’s ST damage output can be rather lackluster. Finally, both Natasha and March 7th are taken to help with team survivability, remember to place March 7th on either the left or rightmost team slot with Natasha beside her. This helps both Dan Heng and Trailblazer (Physical) avoid taking damage from Adjacent attacks.

Relics And Stats

Relic Sets
1. Champion of Streetwise Boxing4pc
2. Champion of Streetwise Boxing2pc + Musketeer of Wild Wheat 2pc
3. Musketeer of Wild Wheat 4pc

Planetary Sets
1. Space Sealing Station

Main Stat:
Body: Crit Rate/Crit DMG
Boots: SPD/ATK%
Planet Sphere: Physical DMG
Link Rope: ATK%
Sub Stat Priority:Crit Rate = Crit DMG > ATK% > SPD

Champion of Streetwise Boxing 4pc: Currently Trailblazer (Physical)’s BIS relic set as it is mainly catered toward Physical Damage dealers.

Champion of Streetwise Boxing 2pc + Musketeer of Wild Wheat 2pc: An alternative set combo you can go for during the early-mid game.

Musketeer of Wild Wheat 4pc: This relic set has been recommended since you will most likely be farming multiple sets of these for supports.

Eidolons

E1: When enemies are defeated by Trailblazer’s Ultimate generate an additional 10 energy. His effect can only be triggered once per attack.

E2: Restore Trailblazer’s HP equal to 5% of their ATK when attacking enemies with Physical Weakness. Quite a situational Eidolon due to its condition, and the healing provided by Eidolon is somewhat negligible in the endgame since most enemies’ attacks will be doing a large percentage of your HP.

E4: When attacking an enemy with Weakness Break, Crit Rate is increased by 25%. Yet another situational Eidolon, while increasing Crit Rate is a great effect, the downtime is too significant if you are unable to delay the enemies’ action.

E6: Trailblazer’s Talent now triggers when they defeat an enemy, while still being quite situational having another way to trigger Trailblazer’s Talent makes them a more versatile option.

Recommended Light Cones

Gacha

Something IrreplaceableThe Moles Welcome YouNowhere to Run

F2P

On the Fall of an Aeon

Something Irreplaceable: A premium 5* light cone that is available via gacha. It increases the wearer’s ATK by 24% with no conditions. While its second effect restores HP equal to 8% of the wearer’s ATK when they defeat an enemy or get hit, additionally the wearer’s DMG is increased by 24% until the end of their next turn. An overall great light cone that provides a good mix of offensive and defensive utility, while it can be hard to trigger its secondary effect there are ways to increase the chances of being targeted such as applying March 7th’s shield onto Trailblazer (Physical) or by positioning them beside a Preservation character if the enemy has Adjacent/AoE skills.

On the fall of an Aeon: A F2P 5* light cone that is available in the Herta Shop and can be upgraded to superimpose 5. Its first effect increases the ATK of the wearer by 16% (superimpose 5) whenever the wearer attacks and stacks up to 4 times. At max stacks, this light cone can reach a grand total of 64% ATK at superimpose 5. However, the ATK buff gained from this light cone may take a few turns to set up as it requires the wearer to attack an enemy. Its second effect increases the wearer’s DMG by 24% (superimpose 5) for 2 turns after the wearer applies Weakness Break onto an enemy, while this is a strong effect it provides nothing if you are unable to apply Weakness Break to the enemy.

The Moles Welcome You: A 4* gacha light cone that has a simple and straightforward effect, it increases the wearer’s ATK when a Basic attack, Skill, or Ultimate is used to attack enemies, this effect can stack up to 3. An important thing to note about this light cone is that you have to use 1 of each attack (Basic, Skill, and Ultimate) to gain maximum stacks.

Nowhere to Run: A 4* Destruction light cone that is available from the gacha and battle pass. It increases the wearer’s ATK and restores HP equal to their ATK if an enemy is defeated. While this light cone is available in the battle pass we do not recommend taking it, as there are better options in the battle pass such as Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds.
